Resubmission of proposals

Step 1: Review previous proposals

Review the feedback from previous proposals and try to identify any common issues or objections raised by the community. Agree with the community on the best way to address these issues and incorporate them into your proposal.

Step 2: Draft a revised version

Incorporate community feedback into the revised proposal. Consider using the forum thread from your original proposal to draft this revision. Be sure to incorporate any new information that may have come to light since the original proposal was submitted.

Step 3: Resubmit your proposal

Consider your revised proposal as a brand new proposal. Begin by conducting a new community vote in the Governance Forum following the Proposal Submission Procedure.

Pay close attention to the guidance in the Proposal Structure section of this procedure; you will need to include additional information that clearly addresses the issues raised during the last submission.

If your proposal has been rejected multiple times, it's a good idea to reconsider the proposal entirely or engage with the community more broadly to gather feedback and build support.

Resubmitting a proposal is an iterative process that requires patience, persistence, and an open mind. By working closely with the community to capture and integrate feedback, you can increase the chances of your proposal passing.
